The Tools In Our Toolbox

by Scott Mulrooney, Board member

I am an architect and a builder. I run a design/build firm, and I know that you need the right tools to finish a job. For me, that means a dependable pickup truck. It’s essential equipment, just like my hammer or my laptop. Without it, I can’t haul materials or get my crew to the job site.

I have known Moses for a while now, and I’m deeply impressed by his mission. He’s doing incredible work, and just like me, he needs his tools. For Moses in Liberia, his 4×4 truck is his most vital instrument. A friend of the ministry was able to work with our contacts to send him the truck in 2022. It is a tool for the Gospel, allowing him to reach people across all the remote corners of rural Liberia.

The Scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” (Romans 10:15). But to get there, Moses needs his vehicle working. As you can see in the photo above, Moses’ feet aren’t very beautiful. They are dirty with mud!
The 4×4 system is broken. Just the other day, he was stranded in heavy mud and rain. He needs his transportation back so he can keep serving.

The total cost to repair this essential pickup and get him back on the road is $2,200. Please join me in supporting this need. Let’s make sure Moses has the dependable tools he needs to keep doing the work we admire. Please use the form below and comment “Truck Repairs” to help keep Moses’ feet beautiful!

Funds are solicited for the general operating budget and will be used to further the mission of Friends of the Pastors USA. While every effort will be made to apply your gift to the designated purpose, Friends of the Pastors USA retains full discretion to apply contributions where most needed.
